Wood Chipping & Debris Hauling in Sacramento, CA

Every tree job produces two products: wood and mess. This service handles both — chipping brush on-site, hauling what can't be chipped, and leaving the ground clean. It's included in our tree work and available on its own.

• Chipping — branches and brush fed through the chipper into the truck; the fastest way to make a big pile disappear.
• Log haul-off — trunk wood bucked to rounds and loaded out, or left stacked if you want firewood.
• Green waste removal — leaves, palm fronds, hedge trimmings, and mixed yard debris from cleanups and clearings.
• Storm debris — downed limbs and split trees cleared after Sacramento's winter windstorms, whether or not we did the original cutting.
• Standalone pickups — piles from DIY work, another contractor's leftovers, or an estate or rental cleanout.
• Chip delivery — truckload chip drops for gardeners and landscapers when routes allow.

When we chip all day, the truck has to empty somewhere — and a gardener's driveway beats the green-waste facility. Chip drop puts fresh arborist chips on your property by the truckload, free or cheap depending on distance.

To get on the list, contact us with your cross streets, where the truck can dump, and roughly how much you can take. No promises on timing — but when a load lines up with your neighborhood, it's the cheapest mulch you'll ever get.

• Truckload only — expect several cubic yards in one dump. If you can't absorb a full load, split it with a neighbor or pass.
• Route-dependent — drops happen when a full truck is near you, so it's a waiting list, not a scheduled delivery.
• Mixed material — whatever we cut that day: oak, ash, pine, leaves and twigs included. Fine for paths and sheet mulching; skip it if you need a uniform look.
• Where it shines — 3–4 inches over garden beds and paths suppresses weeds and holds soil moisture through 100-degree Sacramento summers.
• Where to be careful — keep chips off trunks and stems, and let very fresh chips mellow before mixing them into planting soil.

The difference between tree services shows up after the last cut. Our standard is simple: when the truck pulls away, the only evidence of the job should be the missing tree — not sawdust drifts, rutted lawn, and twig litter.

• Raked and blown — work areas raked, then lawns, walks, drives, and gutters blown down before we leave.
• Ground protection — mats or plywood under equipment on lawns and irrigated areas so cleanup doesn't create a landscape repair.
• No orphan piles — debris leaves the same day. We don't stage a pile 'for the next trip' at your curb.
• Hardscape check — driveways and patios checked for sawdust and chip scatter, and hosed off when needed.
• Neighbor courtesy — anything that landed over the fence line gets cleaned up too.

A chip truck is for green waste, not a general junk run. Knowing the boundaries up front avoids a wasted trip for both of us.

If a pile is mostly green waste with a little of the above mixed in, say so when you book — we'll sort what we can take and tell you what needs a different truck, before anyone's on the clock.

• Construction debris — lumber, fencing, drywall, and concrete go to a different facility; we haul tree and plant material.
• Household junk — furniture, appliances, and bagged trash need a junk-removal service, not a tree crew.
• Hazardous material — treated wood, painted wood, and anything chemical-contaminated can't go through the chipper or the green-waste stream.
• Dirt and rock — a shovel-load mixed in a root ball is normal; loads of soil or rock are excavation hauling, not debris hauling.
• Someone else's active job site — we're glad to quote cleanup after another contractor finishes, but we don't clear debris out from under a crew still working overhead.
